Holloway Diamonds (formerly Precious Metals) was founded by Garry Holloway in 1976. There are two destination Melbourne stores: leafy Canterbury and bayside Brighton.

A geologist turned jeweller, Garry noted that high street jewellers simply bought and sold watches and jewellery, sent out clients repairs, and often knew very little about anything other than timepieces. Upstairs bench jewellers knew about making jewels, but had very little diamond and gemstone expertise. His founding vision bought together essential jewellery skills and expertise, under one roof, providing discerning buyers with exceptional jewels and professional service.

Having worked at the bench, trained in gemmology and diamond technology, and won numerous design awards, Holloway surrounded himself with the finest specialists in each of those fields. There are currently 6 design award winning craftspeople, several gemmologists and a team of thoroughly professional design and sales consultants. Typically companies focused on custom designed jewels have limited ranges of jewellery. Not so at Holloway Diamonds; we have an extensive range from inexpensive Italian gold earrings to six figure diamond rings.
